New Challenge! Sponsered bike ride; Dartmoor to Plymouth Hoe!
The Oldies are planning another trip again this year - only this time it'll be in Devon. Would anyone have a van / trailer / minibus that they would be willing to lend or drive themselves? Would be in June / July time - if you're commercial obviously we would plug your business left right and centre!!

World Scout Jamboree
Hi all Oldies!
Quick line to say that after almost 2 years of constant fundraising, today is the day that 40 Cornish Scouts get to realize their dream of getting to the World Scout Jamboree in Sweden.
They are all meeting in Charlestown St Austell for the official send off ceremony today at 4pm, before leaving for their first stop over in Denmark. If anyone should be in the area, please pop along and say hello.
PS will be posting photo of Joseph in his Jamboree Uniform later

New Walk! 30th July 2011 - all invited!!!
Well, it's that time of year again when four old farts propose a challenge way beyond their abilities!
This year we aren't fund raising so you can put your cheque books away!
We would like to invite any ex-penair student and friends who remembers us to join us in a leisurely stroll from Devoran - Portreath and back again on Saturday 30th July 2011 - a distance of approx 20 miles.
So far Clive Stocker, Neil Jones, Steve Varker and John Brinkhoff will be reprising our team to do this walk. We'll be starting at Devoran in the morning, arriving at Portreath at lunchtime(ish). There are plenty of watering holes between these two points and we'll try and make more definate estimates of times at a later date.
So please, if you fancy a stroll join us for part of the walk; if you fancy a challenge join us for the whole walk. Or if you just fancy a pint with us tell us which pub you're be in and we'll arrange to call in!!!
Pubs on route:
Devoran - Old Quay Inn
Scorrier - Fox and Hounds
Scorrier - Plume of Feathers
Bridge - Bridge Inn
Portreath - Portreath Arms
Portreath - The Waterfront Inn
(Probably a few more I've forgotton!)
It won't be a pub crawl; but more a leisurely stress free day with a hint of a challenge (the distance - 20 miles)
So please, you're all invited. Come and support us or have a drink with us!
The Penair Oldies
Clive, Neil, John and Steve
Disclaimer
Remember folks! This isn't an organised walk - hence you take part at your own risk. In other words if you drink too much and fall over - don't sue us as we're penniless anyway! You have been warned!!!
